Two liters, 300 horsepower, two pedals and $105k.
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
NOT what I would option out of course. My dream 718 Cayman clocks in with only $4k worth of options.

The HEMIWagon has a bunch more liters than that and cost me less than 1/10 the price and has more horsepowers.
I’d half-heartedly agree if it at least had 3 pedals.

Used vs New comparisons mean nothing to me. But I get your drift.

That orange is fantastic

You’re comparing apples and oranges to be honest.

Regarding your comment yesterday about the Panamera Sport Turismo Concept: Interested to see if the black strip shows up on the next 911.

Are you new here?

I just have never been super impressed by Porsche...I mean, I’ve had several neighbors with them, but maybe it’s because I’ve never flogged one before?
I think my SL has spoiled me completely rotten.

Yeah, I’m not sure if I like it though.
![]() 02/05/2016 at 16:04 |

It is! But I’m not sure if it’s $2600 worth of fantastic..

Same here.

I’ve never had more fun than when I got to flog Porsches on a track. They’re magic. And yet they are soooo nice to drive off of the track, with fantastic refinement and build quality. Even a V6 Panamera is freakin incredible in both environments.

Chop about 1,000 off and you could sell me on that paint
![]() 02/05/2016 at 16:13 |

And probably still the best chassis than in many other 100k cars

What, no... Midnight Blue is no longer available on Boxsters and Caymans?! Now not only will I never be able to order a new Porsche, I’ll never be able to order one in my favorite color! D:

Nice to see that Porsche offers some fresh colors like orange. Shame you can’t pick 911 GT3 RS purple.

No doubt!
![]() 02/05/2016 at 16:27 |

True, but the orange is GT3 RS orange!

Only $2600? Pretty well worth it for a good paint color IMO. BMW will have no problem charging $5k+ for individual paint colors when ordering a car.
![]() 02/05/2016 at 16:51 |
|
That for $105k?? NEVER ^_^
![]() 02/05/2016 at 16:55 |

Well, maybe I should clarify. I couldn’t justify that price for that car.A base Porsche. To me the base cars are all about the value proposition.
Just like I think BMW’s insanely expensive paint jobs like $5k for Frozen Gray on a $55k M3 were nuts.
If I were looking at a 991 Targa GTS, oh yeah, give me Lava Orange please.
On the other hand, I drooled on an S6 in Nardo Gray. $3k for that? Yep. I’ll do it.

Old wagon vs New Porsche. I see the comparison...

Definitely makes sense. I’ve seen a few M4's delivered in Ferrari colors and it just makes me drool...

BMW brought a Fire Orange M4 to the LA Auto Show last year. Fucking amazing..

I went to the DC auto show last weekend, Audi KILLED the color game.. Bright red RS7, yellow TTRS, frozen gray R8. It was awesome.

Yep, Audi wins in the color palette department.

Oh yes, you’re right! Damn, that’s cool.

idk, I kinda favor the looks of the old “718" better

Well, I cant compare it to a Sonic....

We are talking about Boxsters, not hatchbacks
